Archie Europe uses the TeamViewer program to remotely watch your screen or temporarily take control.
The software with which Archie Europe starts up the session has been carefully chosen and compiled, but it can still happen that for whatever reason it does not function as intended. It cannot be excluded that damage occurs to software or data on your PC or server. Archie Europe is not liable for any damages of any kind arising from or related to the use of the remote assistance service.
At the time that employees of Archie Europe gain insight into the personal data of your organization through this session, as referred to under Article 4.1 GDPR/AVG, this will always take place under the auspices and responsibility of an employee of your organization. Therefore, Archie Europe is not a processor within the meaning of the GDPR/AVG. Pursuant to Archie Europe's internal rules of conduct, employees of Archie Europe will observe strict confidentiality regarding the personal data in which they gain insight during the session. It is recommended that test data be presented in the session.
By performing the actions to grant Archie Europe access to your systems, you release Archie Europe from any liability in the event of damage to your systems or data.

The TeamViewer program can only be started by the Archie Europe support employee with a username and password.
The connection is not established until you have specifically given your consent to do so.
No additional ports need to be opened on your firewall. An Internet connection and browser are sufficient to start a session.
The firewall and virus scanners do not need to be disabled. Your firewall may ask if the TeamViewer program may be added to the list of safe programs, you must answer yes to successfully start the session.
TeamViewer leaves no traces of installations or software on your computer
You can watch the actions being performed and you can end the session at any time.
TeamViewer meets the U.S. government's requirements for data encryption, the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).
The connection is made through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) which establishes a connection between only the two computers.
