Grozette account managers work easier with the Archie app 

At cheese producer Grozette, everything revolves around efficient collaboration - from the first customer contact to closing the contract. Grozette has been producing a range of freshly grated and long-life air-dried cheese since 1963. 5% of sales are achieved in the supermarket channel and food service; 95% in the food industry. Tracking all product development steps in Archie 

Many consumers know Grozette from grated cheese in bags or air-dried cheese in canisters, but this consumer market makes up only a very small part of the Woerden-based cheese producer's business, says Jelle Poppe, sales manager at Grozette. "Our main market is industry. Our six account managers travel a lot. They mainly visit food manufacturers who want to bring a new product to the market." Grozette does all of its project management in Archie. 

Initially, the account managers talk to the product development department. Based on that initial product idea, the sales assistants set in motion that samples are created and shipped, which the customer tests in their own kitchen. Once a sample is approved, the translation is made from kitchen to factory. From then on, not only the product developers are involved, but also people from operations.

Finally, the final stage is to make detailed arrangements and close the contract. Then the purchasing department sits at the table, sometimes supplemented by someone from legal affairs. Jelle: "We manage an entire project like this in Archie; from the coordination between our account managers with the sales assistants to the follow-up of all kinds of activities."

"The great advantage of working with Archie is that everyone is always aware of the status of a project," says Jelle. "In addition, the CRM system acts as an action list.

When a sales assistant registers that the samples have been sent, a few days later the account manager gets the signal to call the customer to see if everything has been received in good order and if they have already started testing. This allows us to be very proactive and also means that no task ever falls between the cracks again."

Grozette made the switch from on prem software to the cloud some time ago. A huge improvement, says Jelle. "The biggest advantage I think is the mobile app. Where before you always had to start up your laptop first, now you can find everything in your phone. If I'm with a customer and a question or discussion arises about something, I can just look up the right information. And if an account manager at the airport wants to quickly look something up, he or she has that information right at hand." 

He himself now works from the car much more often and easily. "I used to have to print out paper lists and type in a customer's number, now I can call the customer from my action list. The app records that there was a phone call and asks if you want to record any information about it." Entering that information can be done via voice if desired. "In short," says Jelle, "the app just saves us a lot of time." 

Easy search 

He also praises the easy search capabilities in Archie. Not only SmartSearch to find the right contact information very quickly in the mobile app and DeepSearch to search all data and attachments, but also the easy selection options for sending a marketing mailing. "If I want to do a mailing out to all salad manufacturers in a certain country, I have my mailing list with the click of a button," says Jelle.

Not surprisingly, after 20 years, Grozette is still a loyal customer. "Archie just suits us: the software does exactly what we need. The company itself is also a good match. Because there is little turnover, the employees know our company. As a result, they can answer immediately when we call with a question. There's just a high level of commitment and that's nice."
